installations. If your needs fall outside the bounds of what we include in these packages, we will work closely with you to design a custom dotFour system for you. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding the dotFour program.

All Plans include creation of a site map and a custom website theme. Theming includes choice of template from Yellow dotWorks' template options, logo creation, header, color scheme, and your choice of up to 10 photos that can be supplied by you or selected from the Yellow dotWorks image lightboxes.

Information Manager Features

Essential Version

Content manager for five pre-configured basic content types (including pages for viewing content) and four core static pages.
Component highlights: Web-based html/text editor for all content. The editor functions similar to a word processor, giving you the ability to edit text, format paragraphs, create lists, etc. The editor also gives you the ability to upload, resize, and place images inline within text.
The Information Manager streamlines the edit and update process for the website, eliminating the need to use html, ftp, and web-authoring tools – which saves valuable time for busy staff.

Advanced Version

Content manager for ten customizable content types (including pages for viewing content), including the creation of up to five content types not offered by the basic manager.
Up to three customizable dynamic page layouts – particularly useful for departmental homepage, academics homepage, people homepage, etc.
Up to eight core static pages.
Content organized into custom categories that are integrated into the navigational structure of the website (e.g. Undergraduate Program > Scholarship Opportunities > Recent Scholarship Recipients)

Community Manager Features

Essential Version

Content manager for up to four pre-configured basic people content types (e.g., faculty, staff, undergraduate students, graduate students, affiliate faculty, postdoctoral researchers, alumni, etc.).
Component highlights: 1) Web-based html/text editor for all community pages. The editor functions similar to a word processor, giving you the ability to upload, and automatically resize images (such as faculty headshots, for example). 2) Easy-to-use form for creating new people-entries or editing existing people-entries. 3) Each person’s CV/Resume or attachment may be easily placed online for site visitors to download. 4) People listings are sorted automatically by last name for display on people pages.
The Community Manager eliminates the need to struggle with html tables and lists when updating departmental community pages while providing a quick, easy way to upload headshots and CV/resumes to the website.

Advanced Version

Content manager for up to six customizable people content types (e.g., faculty, staff, graduate students, undergraduate students, affiliate faculty, postdoctoral researchers, alumni, etc.).
Complete individual people profiles accessed by clicking through a listing on the primary people page (e.g., Faculty > Dr. Smith’s Complete Profile).
Custom people content may include the ability to upload multiple files for visitors to download from profile pages, including CV/Resume, articles/publications, syllabi, research documents, etc.
Custom contact form provided on each person’s profile page.
Component highlights: 1) Web-based html/text editor for all community pages. The Advanced Community Manager eliminates the need to struggle with html tables and lists when updating departmental community pages while providing a quick, easy way to maintain robust personal profiles with multiple file attachments on the web.

News Manager Features

Essential Version

Content manager for departmental news (e.g., recent scholarships awarded, staff promotions, publications, events, etc.).
Component highlights: 1) Web-based html/text editor for all news stories. Ability to upload images and include them in the story content. 2) News stories automatically sorted by user-entered time for display. 3) RSS feed of news listings enables users and other websites better access to the most current information at your department.
The News Manager provides a centralized location for recent and archived news eliminating the need to struggle with html tables and the need to organize multiple pages of old news stories.

Advanced Version

Content manager for up to 4 different customizable news content types (e.g. departmental news, alumni news, faculty news, research news, undergraduate news, graduate news, etc.).
Organize news content on multiple pages by categories or on a single dynamic page with exposed filters for site visitors to choose the stories they wish to view.
Sort news content by the story creation time/date or by the date/time of the story.
